Bobby Ismail, MS, PT, CEO
Bobby joined Golden Bear Physical Therapy in 1995 after receiving Master of Science in PT in 1994 from UOP. Since then, he has been committed in expanding services and providing the best care available in Stanislaus County. He takes great pride in the quality of staff and consistently high quality outcome of patients treated. Bobby continues to treat patients at all locations when needed. As CEO, he takes pride in Business Development/ Marketing and any tasks necessary to continue the quality reputation that Golden Bear has established in the community. |

Melody Stevens PT, HEM, CEAS
Melody received her degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University after completing her undergraduate studies at Pacific Union College. She has 16 years work experience. While working in San Diego, she furthered her training and received her Healthcare Environmental Management certificate and worked as both a Safety Officer and Physical Therapist at Scripps Memorial Hospital. After moving back to Modesto in 2004, Melody completed her training as Ergonomic Specialist and has worked with many companies for pre-employment physicals, ergonomic setup, and safety issues. In 2005 she continued her education and was certified in the Leduc method of lymphedema management and is currently working with Stanford to expand the lymphedema program at Golden Bear. Melody also volunteers at her church with the Adventurer youth group. |

Kevin Wallace, BA, CMT, PTA
Kevin received his B.A. in Wellness Management from St. John University, has been employed in the field of physical therapy since 1994 and was the owner/president of Myo-Dynamics, Incorporated from 2000 – 2004. His professional interests lay in specialized therapies that address complicated soft-tissue dysfunction and plans to further his education in the Egoscue method of postural therapy. Currently, Kevin is attending classes to obtain a doctorate in naturopathic medicine. |

Amy Nelson, BS, PTA
Amy joined Golden Bear in August 1998. She graduated from Shasta High School in Redding California in 1993 and went on to receive her B.S. in Sports Medicine from the University of Mary in Bismarck North Dakota in 1998. In the course of her education and extensive training, she volunteered her time to The Bismarck Bobcats semi-pro hockey team from 1996-1998, and assisted at the National wrestling tournaments. While at University of Mary, she was educated in the Frappier Acceleration program. Locally, Amy has volunteered her time to Thomas Downey High School and Modesto Christian football teams as an assistant trainer. She is in the process of obtaining her Athletic Trainer Certification. With vast experience in aquatic therapy, she currently directs and treats at our Aquatic Center on Spyres Way in Modesto. |

Pablo Hernandez, BS, CSCS
A graduate of Fresno State Sports Medicine in May 2002, Pablo is the Director of Golden Bear Sports Performance and Post Rehabilitation Center. His work history includes experience as a post rehabilitation specialist and personal trainer while coaching local athletes in speed, strength and conditioning in the Modesto area. Pablo continues to provide services to the community and teaches Speed, Agility & Power Clinics for athletes and Sports Safety Training to coaches as an American Red Cross instructor. Rocio Torres de Serna COTA/L, Marketing Director
Rocio splits her time between business development and clinical work in the Spyres Hand Therapy Clinic. She currently drives the marketing program and works on various business development tasks. Her professional experience prior to employment at Golden Bear Hand Therapy in 2002 was varied and included working as a personal fitness trainer. She graduated from Andon College in 1999 as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has a passion for physical fitness, encouraging her peers, working out in the gym and participating in team sports. She also has compassion for cancer patients. Rocio is a member of Team-In-Training and has raised funds to participate in two marathons for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (www.teamintraining.org).

Steve Toy, MS, PT
Steve joined Golden Bear in December 2000. He graduated in 1993 from University of the Pacific where he received a B.S. Degree in Sports Medicine, and in 1997 received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy also from University of the Pacific. Steve came to Golden Bear in 1997 in an externship program from UOP and after receiving his degree in Physical Therapy, he returned to Golden Bear in 2000 as the Clinical Director. He has been involved in community sports programs and currently is volunteering his time to California Odyssey Girls Fast Pitch softball. |

Jessica Sonke, DPT
Jessica graduated from the University of the Pacific with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor's in Exercise Science. She has also recently completed the Folsom Long Term Orthopedic Course in manual therapy to enhance her clinical skills and knowledge and to improve patient care. |

Adam Pike, DPT
Adam joined Golden Bear in December 2005 shortly after graduating from the University of the Pacific with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2005. He received his B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from CSU Chico in 2003. Adam considers his primary focus to be providing the most thorough and current forms of physical therapy that is available and he continues to keep up to date on new research. In the years to come, Adam plans to obtain a CSCS as well as attend various continuing education courses focusing on the spine, shoulder complex and lower extremities. Adam is a die hard sports fan and enjoys golf, football, basketball, baseball, skiing, hiking, backpacking and working out. |

Allen Oliver, PTA
Allen joined Golden Bear in 1996 as a physical therapy aide and in 1998 then returned to school to further his education. He graduated from Professional Skills Institute in 2000 where he received his A.S. Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. For the past 8 years, he has been involved with Modesto Christian High School basketball team and helped lead them to the 2004 State Championship victory.
