Bobby Ismail's involvement with Golden Bear, GBPT, started long ago in High School. Introduction to Physical Therapy was after a football injury while playing for Thomas Downey Knights, a Modesto high school. His interest in the field was sprung while receiving treatment at Golden Bear.
After completing his Physical Therapy education and graduating from the University of the Pacific in 1994 he was committed to returning to GBPT for employment. In 1995 he joined GBPT as a staff therapist and was fortunate to acquire the practice in 1997. In 2016 Bobby furthered his knowledge by completing his Doctorate degree from Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions.
Over the past 20 years, Bobby has remained committed to expand services and provide the best care available in Central California. He is dedicated to business development, marketing, and all aspects of administration, clinical reputation and culture at GBPT.
Bobby has been making a transition to his CEO role. Focusing on building a strong platform that will allow for future expansion opportunities. He is passionate to deliver the message of the Physical Therapy profession to local communities. He takes great pride and responsibility to provide PT services to under-served communities. The potential of future physical therapy is vast and as the CEO he is a visionary for new program development and implementation of education/technology to further advance staff, patient, and community engagement.
His work schedule is balanced with time spent with wife and six children. He enjoys early morning workouts and occasional Golf..
Brandon Nan, DPT, CSCS
Brandon Nan graduated with his undergraduate degree from California State University, Fresno in 2007 with a double major in Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitation Science and in Kinesiology emphasizing in Exercise Science. Soon thereafter, Brandon received his certification in Strength and Conditioning.
In 2009, Brandon earned a Doctoral graduate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific, Stockton. While at Pacific, Brandon received Summa Cum Laude honors in his course work and was recognized by the faculty for outstanding workmanship in his didactic study.
Shortly after completing his Physical Therapy education, Brandon joined Golden Bear Physical Therapy in 2009. Brandon quickly excelled in the operations and management of Golden Bear and was soon given the title of Clinical Director of the Spyres office. In 2014, Brandon became a partner of Golden Bear Physical Therapy and the Chief Operating Officer of Golden Bear. Brandon is extremely passionate about the profession of physical therapy and the service provided by the great team at Golden Bear.
Brandon has had advanced course work and training through Evidence in Motion's Orthopedic Residency program, which is the leading body of orthopedic and evidence based research/treatment in Physical Therapy. Brandon is currently studying to sit for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist exam in the Spring of 2018. Brandon is currently on the Leadership Board at the University of the Pacific for Physical Therapy and is working to help advance and uphold the University of the Pacific's exceptional reputation in physical therapy.
In his spare time, you can find Brandon spending time with his two children and wife. He enjoys his family, the outdoors, duck hunting, skeet/trap shooting, golfing, cars, and brainstorming ideas to make Golden Bear better.

Steve Toy, MS, PT
Steve joined Golden Bear in 2000. In 1997, he obtained his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Pacific, majoring in Sports Medicine, with a minor in Biological Sciences. Steve strives to provide excellent treatment outcomes, to a make your treatment sessions successful, educational and enjoyable.
Melody Stephens, PT, HEM, CEAS
Melody received her degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University after completing her undergraduate studies at Pacific Union College. She furthered her training by receiving her Health Care Environment Management certificate and became an Ergonomic Specialist. Melody joined the Golden Bear team in 2005. Over the past 6 years, she has provided quality care at all locations. Melody continues to volunteer and remain active at her local church.
Adam Pike, DPT
Adam has been part of the Golden Bear team since 2005 shortly after graduating from the University of Pacific with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He completed his undergraduate work in Exercise Physiology from Chico State University in 2003. Adam is currently the Clinical Rehabilitation Director for our Turlock Office. Over the past 5 years, he has remained committed to continued education in order to improve his treatment techniques. He is currently pursuing his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certificate. Adam is a die-hard sports fan and enjoys remaining physically active.
Tim Fernandes, DPT
Tim graduated from the University of Pacific in 2006. He joined the Golden Bear team in 2007. Tim has 16 years of experience coaching gymnastics and has 6 years of coaching involvement with competitive cheer. Tim is passionate about lifelong enjoyment at athletic pursuits and has devoted time to instructing athletes in conditioning methods that limit injury.
Jon Aycock, DPT
Jon has been practicing physical therapy for 1 year after recently graduating from the University of the Pacific with his Doctor of Physical Therapy. Although he has a background in Aquatic Therapy, he has the knowledge to treat a wide variety of conditions and enjoys focusing on shoulder and knee rehab. Jon is involved in numerous recreational activities and aspires to pursue additional certificates such as Certified Strength Specialist (CSCS) and Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).
Justin Lindo, PT, DPT, OCS
Justin Lindo was born and raised in the Central Valley of California, and joined the Golden Bear Team in 2013. He began his college education in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine for 3 years before deciding to focus his studies on Physical Therapy and graduating with his undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at California State University, Fresno in 2007. He then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude at Fresno State with a Master's degree in PT in 2009 and eventually returned home to serve his hometown communities. After several years in clinical practice, Justin decided to further his skills and knowledge by completing his Doctorate degree from EIM Institute of Health Professions.
Justin has a passion and expertise in a very hands-on treatment of both common and complex injuries in Orthopedics and has an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He continues to give back to his community through his volunteer work with the local High School Football team as a Trainer for 6+ years as the Administrator of a Concussion Management Program for youth athletes. He has attended numerous advanced training seminars in functional and orthopedic manual therapy to advance his skills and knowledge to best serve patients. He also has interest in sharing his knowledge and served as a Guest Lecturer and Clinical Instructor for student Physical Therapists.
Currently, Justin is also working on becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist through the Institute of Physical Art. In his free time, he enjoys staying active in the outdoors with camping, hunting, baseball and spending time with his wife and three children. His favorite past-time is woodworking and construction.
Heriberto (Eddie) Revuelta, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Eddie Revuelta joined the Golden Bear team in 2012. He attended CSU, Stanislaus for undergraduate schooling where he majored in health and wellness promotion and attended Sacramento State University for PT school where he received a Master's in Physical Therapy. Eddie decided to further his knowledge by completing the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through AT Still University.
Since graduating from PT school, Eddie knew early on that he wanted to provide his patients with the best possible care by pursuing a specialization. His interests had always been in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Eddie worked towards receiving his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification as he was finishing PT school. The knowledge gained through attaining the CSCS certification has helped him assist the patients recovering from athletic injuries in bridging the gap from rehabilitation to performance training.
All of Eddie's continuing education since graduating from PT school has focused on specializing in orthopedics. He received advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy through completing a mentorship in advanced orthopedic manual therapy through the Kaiser Hayward Fellowship Program. Shortly after completing the mentorship in advanced orthopedic manual therapy he also became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a distinction that only a small percentage of physical therapist have, after passing the board exam.
Eddie enjoys staying physically active and to this day still plays soccer a couple of times per week. He likes not only staying physically active but also promoting an active lifestyle.
Lisa French, PT, DPT
Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Pre-Physical Therapy Option in 2010 from California State University, Fresno. She continued at Fresno State and received her Master's of Physical Therapy in 2012. Lisa completed her joint Doctorate of Physical Therapy with Fresno State and University of California San Francisco in 2013. Lisa's therapy experience has primarily been in an outpatient setting and joined the Golden Bear Team in February 2015. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors, camping, wake boarding and being with family and friends.
Jena Medeiros, PT, DPT, OCS
Jena attended physical therapy school at Azusa Pacific University where she obtained her Doctorate in 2015. Prior to studying physical therapy, she majored in Kinesiology at San Diego State University and received her Bachelor's degree in 2010. Currently she is taking part in a residency program to further develop her skills in Orthopaedics. She strives to provide quality care and stay up to date with current evidence in treating orthopaedic conditions. When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, traveling, and baking delicious treats.
Sarah Tillay, PT, DPT
Sarah graduated from Andrew's University in 2016 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She graduated from Walla Walla University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2013. She has a special interest in women's health and pelvic health and is working toward a certification in this area (Pelvic Health Certification) to provide a wider range of treatment options to those in the central valley. Some conditions included in this specialty are urinary incontinence and diastasis recti. Sarah is passionate about patient care and providing a safe and encouraging environment with high quality holistic care.
Outside of work she spends time with her husband and church, enjoying outdoor recreation such as kayaking, hiking, and camping.
John Heller, PT, DPT
John became interested in Physical therapy while volunteering and working as a physical therapy aide at Golden Bear Physical Therapy in Turlock while pursuing his Bachelors in Kinesiology at California State University Stanislaus. Following the completion of his Bachelors in Kinesiology in 2014 he went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific in 2016 and ended up returning to Golden Bear. He enjoys treating a wide range of patients that Golden Bear services and take a special interest in orthopedic injuries ranging from neck and shoulder injuries, hips and knee injuries, and return to sport rehabilitation. While treating patients he employs open communication with patients so they know what is going on, utilizes manual therapy for improvements in ROM, decreased pain, and improved function, and individually prescribed exercises for return to normal function. John enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, and being outdoors whenever he is not in the clinic.
Michelle Preston-Smith, PT, DPT
Michelle joined Golden Bear September 2017. She was in the first Master's of Physical Therapy class at the University of the Pacific, graduating in 1988. In 2009 she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy, through Northeastern University. She has been certified in Maitland Manual Therapy, Neuro-Developmental Treatment techniques and has taken a wide variety of post-graduate courses covering sports injury, manual therapy techniques, pediatrics and wound care. Over the past 29 years she has worked in almost every aspect of physical therapy including management, out-patient rehabilitation, acute/hospital based therapy, wound-care, skilled nursing, stroke rehabilitation and pediatrics. During the past 15 years her focus has been out-patient and sports orthopedic rehabilitation. She is dedicated to helping her patients return to their optimum health and activity level, while trying to make the experience as fun as possible. Michelle enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with her family, including snow skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and hanging out at the beach and mountains. She loves to travel with her husband, and has a large "bucket-list" of places left to explore. She has two sons in college and enjoys spending time with them as often as able.
Rebecca Van Klaveren, PT, DPT
Rebecca joined the Golden Bear team in November 2017, shortly after she graduated from the University of the Pacific's Doctoral Physical Therapy Program. She attended California State University, Stanislaus from 2011-2015 where she earned a BA in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health and Wellness Promotion. Rebecca has special interests in orthopedics, gait and balance disorders (Parkinson's Disease), and vestibular dysfunction. She is committed to furthering her education and developing skills to better help the individuals in her community. During her free time, Rebecca enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, building furniture, crafting, and watching the Golden State Warriors play.
Brian Melrose, PT, DPT
Brian joined the Golden Bear team in 2017 shortly after graduating from University of the Pacific's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. He completed his undergraduate coursework at University of California Santa Barbara, earning a BA in Psychology. Brian has special interests in orthopedics and manual therapy. He is committed to furthering his education and developing skills to better help his patients. During his free time, Brian enjoys weight lifting, mountain biking, and following the NBA.

Ellison McMillan, PT, DPT
Ellison joined the Golden Bear team in 2017 following her completion of University of the Pacific's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Ellison first became interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy after her competitive skiing career came to an end with an ACL injury (among many others). Prior to moving to the Central Valley, Ellison completed her undergraduate degree in Salt Lake City, Utah at the University of Utah with a degree in Exercise Sport Science and Nutrition. She is passionate about health and fitness and committed to life-long learning. She aims to treat patients with a holistic approach incorporating both mind and body. She continues to seek ways to further her education in order to give her patients the best care possible.
In her free time Ellison enjoys spending time outdoors: mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing.
Corinna Van Ness, PT
Cori Van Ness attended San Diego State University for her first 2 years in college and transferred to Stockton's University of the Pacific to complete her undergraduate degree in Sports Sciences in 1997. She continued with her education and received her Master's degree in Physical Therapy also from the University of the Pacific in 2002. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics for the last 15 years as both a staff therapist and a clinical director. She currently resides in Ione, CA and spends her free time with her family on camping and boating adventures
Chelsey Classsen, PT, DPT
Chelsey joined the Golden Bear team in 2018. She is committed to creating a patient-centered care experience to facilitate healing and recovery, restore function and help patients achieve their goals. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise Science and Spanish from Baker University in 2009. She attended graduate school at Wichita State University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2016.Chelsey has clinical experience in a wide variety of settings working with patients of all ages, including outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics and skilled nursing.
Outside of work, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs and two cats, visiting her family, living an active lifestyle, completing home improvement projects, gardening and baking.
Kristina Leddon, PT, DPT
Kristie received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from University of South Carolina Honors College in 2015. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University, formerly Medical College of Georgia, in May 2018. Her background is primarily in orthopedics, with special interests in lower quarter dysfunctions and aquatics. Michael Lopes, PT, DPT
Mike joined the Golden Bear Team in 2018 after graduating with honors from CSU Fresno with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to DPT school, he attended CSU Stanislaus where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. He has been involved with sports and outdoors his whole life, and enjoys helping people return to performing the activities they love the most. Josiah Lozano, PT, DPT
Josiah Lozano grew up in Calaveras county where he still lives today. He attended CSU Chico for his undergraduate degree in exercise physiology and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of the Pacific. He is passionate about the field of physical therapy and improving people’s movement to maximize their physical abilities to improve quality of life and performance during athletic events. He lives with his wife and two sons, along with cats, dogs, chickens, and goats. Josiah loves to play basketball, watch sports, and work with kids.
Sarah Dirksen, PT, DPT
Graduated from Sonoma State University with my B.S. in Kinesiology in 2007. Graduated from University of the Pacific in 2012 with my DPT. Worked as a traveling physical therapist for about 3 years working in multiple settings in the bay area and central valley. Settled into Manteca 2 years ago. I enjoy traveling, reading, needlework, swimming, and spending time with my husband and daughter.

Kara Jenkins, PT, DPT
Kara joined the Golden Bear team in 2018 following her completion of University of the Pacific's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Kara first became interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy after competing on the Women's Basketball team at Idaho State University where she suffered chronic ankle sprains throughout her career. While in Idaho, she earned her degrees in psychology and physical education with an emphasis in exercise science in 2014. She is passionate about sports rehabilitation and orthopedics where she feels like she can give back to the community that kept her on the court. She continues to seek ways to further her education and skillset in order to give her patients the best care possible while having fun getting to know the community.
In her free time Kara enjoys spending time hiking, playing an occasional game of basketball, and traveling to see nature's beauty.
Montgomery "Monty" Merrill, PT
Monty received his Bachelor of Arts Degree at U.C. Davis in 1982 and earned his Master's Degree in physical therapy from U.S.C. in 1989. Monty is board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. He is a full fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapists. Monty has taught in the Doctorate program in physical therapy at the University of the Pacific since 1989. Katie Graves, PT, DPT, OCS
Katie graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Biomechanics from UC Davis and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of the Pacific. She earned recognition by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2009 and completed the Folsom Long Term Orthopedic Manual Therapy Course in 2004 and 2015. Prior to joining the Golden Bear Physical Therapy team in 2018, Katie worked for over 12 years at Lodi Physical Therapy. Throughout her career, she has also enjoyed teaching physical therapy, as both an adjunct faculty member and assistant professor for University of the Pacific’s School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. In her free time, your may find her on the tennis court, taxiing between after school activities, or possibly headed up North for a long weekend at the Graves’ family ranch.
Renee Mercado, DPT
Renee Mercado received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at CSU Sacramento in 2007, and continued her education at University of the Pacific where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010. Prior to joining the Golden Bear Physical Therapy team in 2018, Renee worked for 8 years at Lodi Physical Therapy. Renee enjoys working with patients of all ages to help them achieve their goals, and to return to what they love. She is committed to furthering her education in orthopedics, and is interested in the nutritional impact on rehabilitation and optimal performance. In her free time, Renee enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending SF Giants games, hiking, and traveling.
Zachary Mertz, DPT
Zack graduated with his undergraduate degree from California State University, Fresno in 2009 with a Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitative Science degree. Following his graduation from Fresno he went on to receive his doctorate in Physical therapy from the University of the Pacific in 2011. Zack completed the Folsom Physical therapy year long orthopedic manual therapy course in 2014 which focuses on clinical based reasoning as well as practical skill development to treat varying patient populations. Following working with Lodi Physical Therapy for the initial 7 years of his career he joined the Golden Bear Physical Therapy team in 2018. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his two children and wife attending sporting events and brewing beer.
Fatema Ghani, DPT
Fatema graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2006 from the University of the Pacific. She grew up in Southern California and obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from University of California, Riverside. She currently enjoys working in the orthopedic setting with an emphasis on geriatrics and vestibular impairment. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and 2 boys, balancing their competitive soccer schedules, and playing on her own soccer team.
Max Yeagley, DPT
Max graduated from University of the Pacific with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine in 2013, and with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. He worked as an aide at Lodi Physical Therapy for a year and a half, returning after completing his DPT to work as a Physical Therapist. Max joined the Golden Bear team in December 2018, and he is passionate about furthering his education and working with patients from all walks of life. He is currently undergoing the Folsom Physical Therapy orthopedic manual course. In his free time, he enjoys reading, watching movies, camping, and spending time with friends.
Sarah Bozerman, DPT
Sarah joined the Golden Bear Team in 2018 after receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree at San Francisco State University in Physiology in 2014 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of the Pacific in 2018. Sarah enjoys running, hiking, swimming, and anything that includes the outdoors with her family. Her daughter loves to go running with her, but likes to sit in the stroller and tell her mom to run faster. Sarah comes from a small town in northern California, where there are more cows than people, and enjoys going to visit her parents to ride horses, go mud-bogging, four-wheeling, and so on.Bio coming soon...
Elizabeth Snow, DPT
Elizabeth joined the Golden Bear Family in 2018, shortly after graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of the Pacific. She completed undergraduate work in Angwin, CA at Pacific Union College where she earned a BS in Exercise Science and AS Health Sciences. Elizabeth is passionate about expanding her knowledge to better treat her patients each day and provide individualized fun care. She is also excited to be back in her home town to give care to a community that cared for her. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her dog, hiking, and trying new food.
John "Robbie" Martin, PT, DPT
Robbie joined the Golden Bear Team in 2014 as a therapy aide after graduating with honors from CSU Fresno with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science. Robbie furthered his education and graduated with honors from CSU Fresno with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2018 and rejoined the Golden Bear Team. He loves to be physically active and has been involved and around sports for most of his life. He is passionate about helping people return to performing the activities they love the most. Outside of the clinic, you can find Robbie exercising, golfing and spending time with friends and family.

Allen Oliver, PTA
Allen received his Associate's degree at the Professional Skills Institute in Concord, CA. He has been with Golden Bear Physical Therapy for 13 years specializing in Orthopedics and Sports Injuries. Allen was a basketball coach at Modesto Christian for 10 years and was instrumental in player development and motivating athletes to receive full ride scholarships. Allen has also been an active member of Modesto Foursquare Church as a motivational speaker and assisting with ministry services.
Brenda Peebles, PTA, BS, CLT, ATRIC
Brenda joined the Golden Bear Physical Therapy Team in 2014 and is passionate about providing great patient care. She is a graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College's Physical Therapist Assistant program. Recently, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2014. Brenda has experience treating in multiple different settings including out-patient, hospital and skilled nursing. Brenda is also a certified lymphedema therapist and brings over 14 years of experience to Golden Bear. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, bicycling, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
Nicolas King, PTA, BS, ACSM-CPT, FMT, C-FMS
Nicolas King graduated with his undergraduate degree from CSU Monterey Bay in 2012 with a major in Kinesiology emphasizing Exercise Science. Shortly after, Nic became a certified personal trainer through the American College Of Sports Medicine.
After completing his undergraduate work, Nic furthered his education down in San Diego. While in San Diego, Nic received advanced training in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Nic utilizes a variety of techniques including Mulligan and Olga Grimsby based treatments. In addition, Nic is certified in functional movement systems.
Nic has a special interest in treating hip pain, ankle/foot dysfunction and ACL injury prevention. Physical therapy has always been a passion of Nic's ever since he was a patient at Golden Bear when he was 13.

Maggie Ismail, PTA, BS
Maggie majored in Kinesiology at Stanislaus State University and received her Bachelor's degree in 2014. After graduating, she started working as an aide for Golden Bear PT, where she found her love for the profession of physical therapy. She continued her journey at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in San Mateo, and become a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in April of 2015. She is passionate about helping others and is very happy to be part of the Golden Bear team.
Bryce Bailey, PTA, FMT
Bryce Bailey gained a passion for Physical Therapy as a high school athlete and began working as a Physical Therapy Aide in 2010 after receiving an Associate's degree in Athletic Training. Bryce later joined the Golden Bear family as a Physical Therapy Aide in 2013 and graduated with his Bachelor's degree from CSU Stanislaus with a major in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health and Wellness Promotion.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Bryce furthered his education by graduating from Carrington College's Physical Therapist Assistant program in Pleasant Hill, CA.
Bryce aspires to become a certified Functional Movement Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in order to provide better treatment outcomes for his patient's. Bryce has a special interest in treating Total Knee Replacements, Shoulder injuries, and educating coaches and athletes in injury prevention.
Loreli Guillory, PTA
Loreli graduated with her undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento and earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on therapeutic rehabilitation. Immediately after, she graduated from Carrington College California as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
She believes in a hands-on approach to treatment and is committed to life-long learning. She continues to seek ways to further her education in order to give her patients the best care possible. In her spare time, she spends it with her husband (and two dogs), family and friends. She enjoys martial arts and taught taekwondo for 6 years during her undergraduate schooling. Loreli is passionate about helping others and enjoys giving back to the community through her local church.
Jaizie Sylva, PTA
Jaizie Sylva became interested in Physical Therapy because she wanted to give quality care to returning wounded war victims as a thank you for their contribution. She was born and raised on Oahu and graduated from Kapiolani Community College in 2010 with an Associates in Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Jaizie is very interested in learning about numerous disciplines including Women’s Health, Wound Care, Orthopedics and Aquatics. She is currently finishing up her Bachelors Degree in Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Her future aspirations include being a Certified Posture Specialist and Postural Alignment Specialist.
With her background passions in Gymnastic, Cheerleading and Dance; she enjoys helping people find their rhythm back to the things they love. On her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, hula, and Zumba.
Elisia Varner, PTA
Elisia received her Associate of Science for PTA degree from Carrington College in 2018 and her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University in 2007. This is a profession that I’ve been involved in for more than 15 years and I too have had the pleasure of receiving Physical Therapy for an ACL repair myself. Being an athlete for most of my life through Grade School, High School, College, University, and in being involved in Recreational sports teams I came to appreciate and love the science and practice of Physical Therapy and now I get to be part of that team too.
